AquaLifeNet offers a community fish-farming network model that enables individual farmers to link their aquaculture business to a central hub and benefit from enhanced support resources and economies of scale. Because the AquaLifeNet technology allows for growing more fish in less time, it enables farmers to increase their yields and develop a robust local fish farming industry.
AquaLifeNet offers a community fish-farming model that addresses many of the local difficulties faced by individual farmers, based on the principle that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. We offer training and consultancy support to empower local people to manage their farm networks. By enabling a local cooperative fish industry that is governed by best practice in business and farming expertise, the benefits and impact on local communities can be both meaningful and sustainable.
AquaLifeNet provides all the necessary elements to facilitate aquaculture networks in rural communities around the world:
Fish ponds and equipment
Bio filtration systems
We work in partnerships with NGOs, governments and commercial business – both local and international – to build sustainable fish farming networks around the world. Click here to read about our on-going projects.
