AquaLifeNet helps farmers to move from extensive to intensive aquaculture by installing efficient mini-RAS filters, upgrading their infrastructure and expanding their operations.
Using AquaLifeNet technology, farms can be built in locations where aquaculture had never been considered feasible due to shortage of space or water resources. The mini-RAS system is uniquely suited to intensive farming and reduces water consumption by up to 90%, so we can help to establish successful fish farms with minimal land usage and ecological footprint.
The network model allows farmers to buy feed products and fingerlings from the central fish farm and focus on growing them to maturity. This eliminates much of the risk involved in the early growing stages and allows for more efficient usage of the satellite fish farm, with shorter growing cycles and higher yields. Where fingerlings are grown in an intensive nursery facility, farmers can purchase 20g-100g fish and grow them to market size, increasing their farming profits.
